Your agreement

Please read this carefully. Signing below creates your partner account and is a legally binding electronic signature.

MASTER REFERRAL AGREEMENT

This Agreement is made on the date of electronic signature recorded below between:

  (1) Squiggle Consult Ltd, an estate-planning firm ("Squiggle"); and
  (2) [your organisation] (the "Partner"),
      a paid introducer.

Summary of what the Partner qualifies for: 20% referral.

1. PURPOSE
The Partner and Squiggle wish to work together so that the Partner's people
and clients can access professional estate-planning advice and, where
applicable, free wills. This Agreement sets out the basis of that
   relationship.

2. WHAT SQUIGGLE PROVIDES
  1. Referral fee. Squiggle Consult Ltd will pay the Partner a referral fee of 20% of the net fees for each first instruction that a referred client gives Squiggle Consult Ltd within 12 months of the referral. "Net fees" means the fees Squiggle Consult Ltd invoices for that instruction, excluding VAT and excluding all disbursements and other third-party costs, whether internal or external. The fee is exclusive of VAT; where the Partner is VAT-registered, VAT is added. Squiggle Consult Ltd pays the fee in arrears, once the client's matter has completed and Squiggle Consult Ltd has been paid. No fee is payable on cancelled, refunded or non-completing matters.

  2. Fee disclosure. Before a referred client instructs Squiggle Consult Ltd, the Partner will tell that client, in writing, that the Partner receives a referral fee, and the Partner will comply with any rules its own regulator sets for referrals and referral fees.

3. REFERRALS
The Partner may introduce individuals to Squiggle with their consent. Each
individual remains free to choose their own adviser; a referral is an
introduction only and creates no obligation on the individual to instruct
Squiggle. Squiggle is responsible for the advice it gives and for its own
   regulatory compliance.

4. DATA PROTECTION
Each party is an independent controller of the personal data it holds and
will comply with UK data-protection law. The Partner confirms it has a lawful
basis to share an individual's contact details with Squiggle for the purpose
of an introduction, that the individual has been told their details will be
shared and why, and that the individual has not objected. Each party will keep
the shared data secure and use it only for the introduction.

5. NO EMPLOYMENT OR PARTNERSHIP
Nothing in this Agreement creates a partnership, joint venture, agency or
employment relationship between the parties. Neither party may bind the other.

6. TERM AND TERMINATION
This Agreement starts on the date of signature and continues until ended by
either party on 30 days' written notice. Referral fees already accrued on
completed matters remain payable after termination.

7. GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales.

By signing electronically below, the Partner confirms they are authorised to
enter into this Agreement on behalf of [your organisation] and agree to its terms.

We record the date, time, your IP address and a secure record confirming the document has not been altered, to evidence your signature. Fields marked * are required.
